"I suspect, like myself, you wander aimlessly looking for answers, but you’ll always come back to this feeling of loss, until you are ready to be whole."
a film and interactive gallery experience
(in progress)
What started as 10 years of odd-ball, stand-alone paintings became a realized narrative and subsequent Call-to-Action, drawn from Our relationship to Our day-to-day landscape, and its effects on Our mental health. In an attempt to tackle the emotional weight we carry in the face of tech-centric, blending realities, the goal of this project is to act as a means of connection; to ourselves, to each other, and to the landscapes we exist in. It is meant to serve as a suggestive starting point (case study) for collaboration between artists and neighborhood organizations pre- and post-production, illuminating landscapes through a range of perspectives and providing access to hyperlocal resources so that we may all Bloom Together.

the artist
Britt rhodimer
Britt Rhodimer is a 30-year old acrylic surrealist painter with shallow roots found all over Southern California. She spent most of her life in school, earning a B.S. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and a Master's in Landscape Architecture. Through her studies she clung to varying representations of life, and actively seeks to find balance between the creations of the ingenuitive, yet wasteful, ego and the restorative effects of selfless stewardship.
